Osceola also offers beautiful parks: East Lake Park – east on Highway 34 that offers wonderful shelters for picnics, fishing, playground equipment, and the lookout tower. East Lake is also home to a pair of trumpeter swans (and offspring) that are a very popular attraction. We also have Q-Pond Park that has limited playground and shelters as well as walking trails. This park is located west of town on Clay Street.
Osceola Chamber Main Street and Clarke County Development Corporation invite you to a "Night at the Osceola Oscars" on Monday, January 19th at 5pm at Lakeside Casino. Learn about all of the great initiatives both organizations undertook in 2014 and hear about their plans for 2015. Network with other local businesses and organizations while viewing some of the great vendor tables.
The Metro Brass Quintet will be the featured entertainment for the evening and we will hand out awards all night long, including the Director's Award from Clarke County Develpment Corporation and Volunteers of the Year from Osceola Chamber Main Street. The evening will conclude with the announcement of the Osceola Chamber Main Street and Osceola Rotary Annual Community Service Award.
Tickets can be purchased for $25 at the OCMS/CCDC office. Tickets MUST be paid for by 5pm on Monday, January 12th or you will not be saved a seat at the dinner.
