Osceola also offers beautiful parks: East Lake Park – east on Highway 34 that offers wonderful shelters for picnics, fishing, playground equipment, and the lookout tower. East Lake is also home to a pair of trumpeter swans (and offspring) that are a very popular attraction. We also have Q-Pond Park that has limited playground and shelters as well as walking trails. This park is located west of town on Clay Street.
Osceola Chamber Main Street is seeking a hands-on, energetic, collaborative and organized professional for a part-time Events Coordinator/Assistant position to provide event support and coordination as well as administrative support as needed. The position would be a maximum of 25 hours per week and applicants would need to have a flexible schedule to work around the different event activities and office activities on a weekly and monthly basis.
