Christmas in the Park Brings Holiday Magic to Downtown Osceola

Last Updated 12/8/2025

Downtown Osceola came to life on Saturday, December 6, as families, friends, and visitors gathered to celebrate one of our favorite community traditions, Christmas in the Park. The square was bustling with holiday cheer as children lined up to visit Santa, families climbed aboard the mule-team wagon rides, and the whole area glowed with the spirit of the season.

One of this year’s most-loved activities was the Wreath & Wonder Walk. Participants with event tickets visited participating downtown businesses, collecting unique items to personalize their very own Christmas wreaths. Each stop offered something fun, ornaments, ribbons, décor, and surprises; turning a simple walk around the square into a festive, hands-on holiday adventure that supported local shops.

A huge thank-you goes out to the Osceola Fire Department and Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, who hosted cookie decorating, kids’ crafts, and their annual toy giveaway. Their involvement brought smiles to so many young faces and helped make the day even more meaningful.

We also brought back a crowd favorite, Live Window Displays! Downtown storefronts transformed into magical scenes, with volunteers, business owners, and community members creating charming holiday scenes that stopped people in their tracks and added another layer of wonder to the evening.

The celebration wrapped up with the much-anticipated Lighted Christmas Parade, where glowing floats and twinkling lights lit up Main Street. Congratulations to Jack Ryan, this year’s parade winner, who took home $50 in Diggin’ Downtown Dollars!

Christmas in the Park is truly a community-wide celebration, made possible by countless partners, volunteers, and supporters. A special thank-you goes to our event sponsors: First National Bank, Fareway, Kading Properties, and Clarke County Hospital, for helping make celebrations like this possible. We also thank the City of Osceola, the Osceola Police Department, the Osceola Fire Department, the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department, our downtown businesses, and every resident and visitor who came together to make this event unforgettable.

Here’s to a season filled with joy, laughter, and memories made right here in Osceola!
