Fareway Donates More Than $200,000 to Support Small Businesses and Employees
Fareway Stores, Inc. announced a $200,000 donation to the Iowa Chamber of Commerce Executives (ICCE). The donation provided for $1,000 or more in gift cards to ICCE chamber of commerce members in the communities Fareway serves.
ICCE distributed the Fareway gift cards to its chamber of commerce members. Osceola Chamber Main Street received $2,000 in gift cards, which are being distributed to local small businesses and their employees.
"In an effort to help support our local businesses, we are partnering with our chamber of commerce to provide Fareway gift cards to local, small business owners. We are excited to have the opportunity to continue supporting our local businesses" said Jeff Deforest, manager at Fareway in Osceola.
"Osceola Chamber Main Street is appreciative of Fareway and their team for supporting their communities they live and work in," said Ashleigh Eckels.
