Great Community Support for Fourth of July Events

Last Updated 12/16/2021

Who said people cannot safely have a parade, race or business event in the middle of a pandemic? OCMS staff is pleased with the participation and efforts of everyone who is making the best of a challenging situation, “There were some moments when we didn’t know if people would join in the events, but we were determined to raise community spirit and shine a light on the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. The community support has been very gratifying, and we are thankful for the participation.” -OCMS Executive Director, Ashleigh Eckels

Grab your cameras when you participate in the Reverse Parade July 1-4! There are 25 businesses/groups and nine private residence all decorated and ready for viewing.
