In The Know: What’s New at the Revelton Distillery Site?

Last Updated 12/16/2021

If you have not been out their way, lately, Rob and Christi Taylor, owners of Revelton Distillery have added a copper roof and dark blue paint to what will house the Tasting Room. Although there has been plenty of mud to slow progress, changes are happening and Rob credits Randy Short construction and Bud Jones Construction. “[They] kept on time in our construction schedule during these unprecedented times and practiced social distancing during the construction phase-doing our very best to keep our teams safe.”

Inside, the Tasting Room and bar are being completely remodeled and a new caterer’s kitchen is being installed. Both stills and the 3,000-gallon cooker were completed by Vendome Copper Works of Louisville, Kentucky, and will ship the week of June 8. Rob says the first semi load of bottles arrives today (June 1) to prepare for production still scheduled for late this summer.
