Board Nominations for OCMS

Last Updated 12/16/2021

Dear Osceola Chamber-Main Street Investor,

Thank you for your continued support of Osceola Chamber-MainStreet! As a valued investor, we appreciate hearing from you about our events or any other topic/issue OCMS might be able to address. As is our practice, it is time for members to help choose OCMS Board of Directors representatives for the upcoming three years.

The Board makeup is determined by OCMS membership, geography, needed skills/talents, funding access, diversity, and representation of constituencies served.  While some Board members will be up for re-election, we want this to be a transparent process.

Please consider these aspects when nominating people to sit on the Board: Community and business leaders who would be thoughtful team players and stewards of the organization.  Furthermore, the nomination form requires information about your nominee, including previous volunteer experience with OCMS; special skills and other community organization affiliations (both here and previous communities).

To complete the nomination, we need your contact information to follow-up if we have questions. These forms are due Friday, October 16, 2020 to the Osceola Chamber Main Street office.

If you have any questions, please direct them to the OCMS office at 641.342.4200, e-mail at [email protected] or by written correspondence at Osceola Chamber–Main Street, P.O. Box 425, Osceola, Iowa  50213.
