Chiropractic 1st

Dr. Colton Westerbeck of Chiropractic 1st believes everyone should know chiropractic is not just about fixing back and neck pain. The foundation of chiropractic is based upon tone and restoring normal function of the nervous system and entire body by removing interference to normal physiological function and communication in the body.  Chiropractic, therefore, can help people suffering from a myriad of conditions and ailments by helping to restore normal function.  It is great for people of all ages from newborns to the elderly. It’s for anyone who just wants to improve their health and overall wellbeing.

Dr. Westerbeck has been employed by Chiropractic 1st since March 2019, working from the Winterset office, and began late July in Osceola. He says his four Osceola employees are wonderful. The office goal is to help as many people as possible in Osceola and surrounding communities. Their office accepts most insurance and offer discounts to those without insurance. Chiropractic 1st has been part of the Give Back Movement. They strongly believe in helping everyone who needs their services and through philanthropy, support local organizations who help others in need.

Chiropractic 1st utilizes a specific technique known as Gonstead, consisting of several different components such as x-ray analysis, instrumentation, visualization and palpation of the patient and knowledge of their history and current symptoms to determine the root cause of their problems and structural misalignments. Dr. Westerbeck’s favorite part of the job is seeing people get their lives back, “ Many people come into the office in pain or suffering from various conditions. Often, people have tried numerous other treatments or remedies before giving a chiropractic a chance, but when we are to naturally help restore their function and let their own body do the healing, the results are amazing and something I never take for granted.” He is motivated by his patients’ recovery and thankful to have such an important impact in their lives

Dr. Westerbeck loves the small town feel of Osceola. He says everyone he has met is very friendly and welcoming. He also loves the diversity of the community and abundance of events for people to attend.
