Greetings from Osceola!

Greetings from Osceola, IA we are incredibly excited about our newest mural downtown, every aspect of it holds meanings and memories in the community.

This project began last year with a grant award of $5,000 from the Iowa Art Council and the conceptual design process headed up by the OCMS Design Team.  At the beginning of the 2023/2024 school year, artist Bobby and Megan Sobczak of Design Farm compiled the mural design fact sheet for each letter of the mural. This was presented to the Clarke High School Art Honor Society students who used the fact sheet as a guide in designing their letters and mural background.

Once the students renderings were compete they were handed over to Design Farm artist Bobby and Megan who brought the designs to life. Check out the mural process here.
