Tee-riffic Time at the Annual Chamber Main Street Golf Tournament
Golfers took to the course September 13 for a 9 hole best shot scramble. Sixteen teams of four took the greens, made up of different local business owners and sponsors across the community in search of taking home the swag given to the winning squad.
“This event is one of our top 5 fundraising events for our organization, it was great to see all the teams signed up, it’s one of the best turnouts we’ve had, said Ashleigh Eckels, Executive Director of Osceola Chamber Main Street.
The event started with lunch from Timber Ridge Country Market featuring cookies from our Premier Sponsor Fareway. The teams then took the course with different challenges throughout the course such as longest drive and closest 2nd shot. The toughest was hole 8, the hole in one challenge sponsored by Fleetside Ford who put up a $20,000 cash offering for whoever accomplished the feat.
This event allows businesses across the community the chance to not only compete but network with each other. Congratulations to Stephenson Insurance Group for becoming repeat champs!
