11 Ways to Enjoy the Holiday Season in Osceola

Osceola Eagles, Aerie 3495 – Thanksgiving Dinner - November 23

The Osceola Eagles, Aerie 3495 will be hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner, Thanksgiving Day at 1pm.  They will be providing the main dish, sides and desserts.  Members are welcome to bring a side or dessert.  A free will donation jar will be out.  For those who don’t bring a dish if you could make a donation, they would appreciate it to help cover the cost of the provided.

Clarke County Toys for Christmas Program

There is still time to adopt a family and donate to our local Toys for Christmas program.  Reach out to Dianne Riley if interested: [email protected] or 641-414-2207.

Donations they need: wrapping paper, scotch tape, teenager clothes, fun gifts for teenagers (body lotion, body spray, makeup, Bluetooth speaker, headphones, build kits, basketball, fishing pole, polaroid camera, etc.)

Volunteers are needed to help shop and wrap presents.

Donations can be dropped off starting November 27 through December 13 at the Senior Center. 

Shop Small Saturday | November 25

This Saturday is a day to celebrate and support small local businesses.  They are the heart of our community and part of what make Osceola so great!

For every $1 spent in Osceola $0.67 stays in the community! The economic benefits of doing business local are immense.  Whether it’s a cup of coffee at a local coffee shop, a sweater from a local boutique or a steak dinner from a local restaurant, doing business local helps strengthen communities!

Holiday Giving Trees at Lakeside | December 4 - 16
